Yes, indeedy, I have sorely neglected ye olde LAMPStack Ninja site. There are broken links, it needs a facelift, and I haven’t updated it in ages.
I’m the founder and CEO of Webinology, and in the whole of my working life, it’s the best project yet. It allows me to work with tech that I love (LAMP/LEMP and WordPress), great people, and it’s our business so we’re able to make smart choices and learn from the mistakes we’ve seen others make throughout the course of our careers.
Over time, we’ve been getting progressively bigger clients, and that’s been even more exciting: not only do we get to develop customizations in WordPress, but now we’re doing custom cloud environments for heavier hitting sites.
Of course, this is all pretty demanding on my time. But something really interesting happened to me today. In the course of solving a complex problem for a client, I came here, where I’d previously recorded a solution. The past-me saved the today-me’s bacon, and I was reminded of why tech blogging is so rewarding… we who share what we know help other people. (And sometimes ourselves.)
So what say we (okay I really mean “I”) get this blog back in shape? I think it’s worth making a little extra time, and I’ve certainly got a topic or few ready for a writeup.
And in the meantime, do check us out on webinology.io; if you need a killer WordPress solution, well, we’re your ninja.*
(In Japanese, “ninja” is both singular and plural.)
